Visiting Hours & Policies
At Almater Hospital, our main focus is the care and well being of our patients. Rest is an important part of the recovery process, which is why we request that you please adhere to our visiting hours.
Visitors play an important role in the recovery of our patients and are permitted daily and at any time of the day. However, our hospital staff works with patients and families to allocate periods of time for our patients to rest and sleep. Depending on the patient’s condition and location within the hospital, visiting hours may vary. Please ask our receptionist or look for signs indicating special visiting hours in certain units of the hospital.
When it is time for the patient to be transferred from his or her room to the operating room, we encourage families to remain in the patient’s room and wait there for information.
When a child visits a patient at Almater Hospital, our caring staff works hard to ensure the best interest of the child at all times in order to make the experience positive for the child.
In accordance with federal health laws, and to ensure the safety and health of our patients and visitors, children under the age of 12 must be in the company and under the direct supervision of a responsible adult, other than the patient.
