The staff at Almater Hospital strives to make your arrival to the hospital as easy as possible.
The Admission Process
The Patient Services Coordinator will be with you every step of the way. She will provide you details on when you should arrive at the hospital and where to report. Unless this is an emergency situation, all hospital services require pre-admission, registration, and screening with a nurse.
Please have these items available when you register:
- Your insurance card or information
- Your insurance prior authorization for your service or procedure
- Your durable power of attorney for healthcare
- Your current medication list
Registration for admission is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your International Patient Coordinator will email the forms you will need to fill out and print that will be required for your visit. Completing these forms prior to arrival at Almater Hospital will ensure a quick check-in process. If you have any questions while completing the patient forms, please feel free to contact our Patient Services Coordinator who will be happy to help answer your questions.
You may also bring the patient forms with you and complete them upon arrival at the hospital. Any patient seeking admission to the hospital can visit our Admission Counter in the main lobby on their day of admission. Once your paperwork is completed, your admission will be confirmed on the spot.
An admission deposit, based on an estimate provided by your Patient Services Coordinator, will be required during your check-in.
